Miniature Time Traveller Magazine Issue #18 19 Ouma’s Crafts—Children’s miniature projects to make out of household bits and pieces. My grandchildren and all their friends call me Ouma. A sort of universal grandma. I am popular, I think, because I have lots of doll houses! Over the next few issues there will be instructions on how to make items for a doll house from bits children (or their mum’s) would find in a pantry. If you just want to keep things simple the first project is to make this little room display box out of a carton. It can be decorated it with your own colours and patterns and kitted out with the items you make. This ‘lockdown’ project was published in my local paper, The Wairarapa Times Age. It is part of a series of ten, to give children something to do along with their home schooling. Some of them will appear in following issues. Jill Fraser
