Miniature Time Traveller Magazine Issue #18 30 No matter if you belong to a miniature club, big or small, or work away quietly on your own, this is an opportunity to show off what you are doing right now. Send details and images to miniaturetimetraveller@gmail.com WHATCHA BEEN UP TO? Christine Batt of Masterton writes: While in Lockdown I have had great pleasure doing up a sad old Greenleaf Arthur house and delivering it to a house bound 5 year old grand daughter. Two Martinborough Miniaturists made these armchairs from a toilet roll or two. In years to come they will be reminders of the Great Toilet Paper Debacle when people found they were going to be lockdown for six weeks because of Covid-19 and the shelves emptied of loo paper. A great many jokes went flying around the internet like “ I will swap my house in Australia (sorry Australians) for six packs of toilet paper”. Or the visual one of a title “Grow your own” and a toilet roll center suspended in a glass of water by two toothpicks. (For those who have tried striking an Avocado this way). Tilly from Whakatane’s stall with knives Anne Harding of Masterton had a go at this very simple project with great results. Come on South Islanders—you must be doing some interesting things down there we would all like to see. Feel free to send images of your work and a few details.
