Miniature Time Traveller Magazine Issue #18 6 And of course, there were other miniature purchases completely unrelated to the project that just had to come home with me. This little shop is full of memories. Every time I see it, I remember the shops I visited and the travel to get there, the hunt for the right pieces and unexpected treasures, so much better than photos or postcards. Don’t you love it when you can stand back and look at your finished project and be more than pleased with the result. Sure, it is never quite what you imagined, sometimes it is even better, but it is finished and looking good; not packed away in a box under the bed never to see the light of day. The vintage wooden blue crock, a Reutters china light, pottery jugs and small white rose trim bowl were added to the collection. PS: Having just read this you might be thinking - in light of the fact that I am possibly adding an attic and bought minis while away with no thought as to where they will eventually live – what happened to lessons 1 and 2?
