D. 2 cm x 8.5cm Back of keyboard, internal. 10.4 x 2.5 cm E. 1.8 cm x 8.5cm F. Each end of keyboard. 1.8 cm x 2.5 cm 7.8 cm x 1.8cm G. Top of lid. 7.8 cm x 2.2 cm H. Front of lid Step 6. Legs. Using 5mm square wood, cut 4 pieces 4.5 cm long. Pencil in a taper line on all four side and trim and shape the wood with files or a pocket knife. Now you are ready to paint the pieces before you glue it all together. Step 7. Mask oƯ the edges of the carcase and the top. This will create a crisp edge after you have stippled the pattern in. The stipple was done with Burnt Umber Acrylic paint and a small brush. The eƯect is a Bird’s Eye Maple pattern. Legs. Cut 4. Showing pieces with some of the masking tape removed once the paint is dry.
