Used up test pots are provide the motivation for creating something miniature on top of them. You will need: an old used up test pot. Matchsticks. Card. Some dowel. Acrylic paint. A punched colour circle for floor. A small cat or dog. This is a great rainy day project. Glue a punched circle ‘floor’ onto the top of the pot. The paint pots. Cut the dowel into 1cm lengths. Labels were downloaded oƯ the internet and shrunk to size. There are a few below. Glue them around the dowel. For the spilt pot, daub some paint on the top and splodge some on the floor. The Ladder. Take two matchsticks and glue strips of card across to make rungs. As ‘the accident’ happened because the rungs collapsed, make some crooked. On this ladder the rungs were on one side and the back was fairly plain. Part 3 Extraordinary Recycling Test Pots Position the back of the ladder at an angle below the broken ladder. The Calamity I climbed my old ladder to paint the wall. But before I climbed a voice said ‘stop. ItÕs old and shaky and will fall.Õ But I grinned and climbed right to the top. With me paint brush and me pot! Then I stepped back down and missed a rung, For seconds in mid air I hung. Then with a crash down came the pot, the brush, and, of course, the silly sot.
