We are now into the second year of publication for our new miniatures magazine entitled ‘The Miniature Time Traveller’. Our goal is to tell the world about New Zealand and Australia's clever miniaturists.

The feedback on earlier editions has been very positive and several of the helpful suggestions from readers have been incorporated into subsequent issues.

Highlights of the this issue include a visit to the Pahiatua Miniature club, the work of Ray Powell of NSW and Fern Oliver in Timaru; workshops on a 24th scale lounge suit, knitting a 1950's jumper, making a 1/12th scale backpack and a pattern for medieval clothing; a feature on Halloween (and making a pumpkin lantern); and a feature on miniature Tudor houses. And LOTS more! See photo of contents page!

This is not hard work for me. The talented people we have around us is amazing and I thoroughly enjoy putting this magazine together. Already I am working on the next issue.

I would love to hear from you if you have suggestions on future content, or indeed if you have a story you'd like published.

Warm regards, Jill
