ABOUT THE MAGAZINE:

We are now into the third year of publication for our new miniatures magazine entitled ‘The Miniature Time Traveller’. Our goal has been to tell the world about New Zealand and Australia's talented miniaturists.
Highlights of the latest issue include a visit to talented miniaturist Maureen Holmes-Wood's 'Dream a Little' display in New Plymouth, checking in again at Nigel Ogle's Tawhiti Museum (there is always something new to see there, so frequent visits are highly recommended!) and an article on the Lower Hutt Miniature Makers display in the Katherine Mansfield Museum. There are workshops to help the creative process, such as guides on texturing and making Fimo drawer handles. Other projects include making a school lunchbox, a 12th scale guitar, a summer recliner and side tables, and place mats for dining tables. Regular features continue: like the "Whatcha been up to" section, and forthcoming events and conferences. You could say everything but the kitchen sink!! Well, there's a project included on how to make one of those too!!

I love putting this magazine together and meeting wonderful miniaturists from all over Australia and NZ. I'd really like to hear from you if you have suggestions on future content, or indeed if you have a story you'd like published. My email is miniaturetimetraveller@gmail.com

Warm regards, Jill
