There is an English competition available: See the London Dollshouse Festivals' post. PERFECTION IN MINIATURE AWARDS 2026 : Now open to all miniaturists ! The PIMA have been running since 2015 in association with Ahmed Al Thani, a regular visitor to KDF who wants to encourage the development of the miniatures industry & encourage all talented exhibitors to create their best work. THIS YEAR THE COMPETITION WILL BE OPEN TO ALL MINIATURISTS – you do not need to be an exhibitor at our shows to take part. The competition will culminate in a PIMA Showcase Display & final judging happening at the KDF Summer Show on May 15th & 16th at Kensington Town Hall. Another competition available to enter is There is a competition closer to home: Small Works Art Prize 2026 (Melbourne, Victoria). Entries closed for this on November 16 2025. It is running from January 4 - 17 2026 so too late to enter this year but keep in mind for next year. Submissions are for works no larger than 35 x35 x 35 cm with over $14,000 in prizes, including a $5,000 first prize. Competitions for those who delight in ‘microness’.
