Miniature Time Traveller 25 Step 5. Cut out a piece of this circle as shown cut along dotted line. Remove about 1cm of this ring. Wind it around a pen to make it more receptive to folding around. Step. 6 Glue an overlap making sure the centre hole is not greater than 1cm. Clamp to dry. Step 7. When the larger circle is dry, trim any irregularities around the edge neatly. If the glue has been taken right to the edges there won’t be any fraying. Step 8. Slice the centre circle you marked on this in Step 2 as shown below. Now you have a series of saw tooth shapes. When you are ready to assemble every thing these bend up into the crown and are glued in place. Step 9. Now you are ready to put it all together. Put a line of glue around the bottom edge of the crown. Place this over the centre hole marked on the brim and press down until the glue grabs. Step 10. When this is firm, glue the small 1cm circle over the hole in the crown. Step 11. Finally, glue two pieces of ribbon on the underneath side of the brim to tie the hat onto the doll.
