The month for scarecrows

Our latest club project was about gardens and of course every garden should have a scarecrow. The scarecrow workshop was taken by myself and it was great fun. The basic project came from a Miniaturist's magazine and all we did was tweak it a little.

The workshop covered off the making of the scarecrow, making a Fimo crow and making the carrot nose. Everyone got to work quietly.

At the end of the day we had some very smart scarecrows and some that would, quite frankly, scare the crows!

A very motivating workshop on scarecrows truly inspired the cover of the October Issue, just being published. Thank you Louise. And my two just had to have their minute of fame.
